This year’s conference will feature keynote presentations from leading professionals in the arenas of Allied Health topics, Interprofessional Education and Practice, and IPE/IPP models. Additionally, this year’s conference will feature a record number of concurrent and poster presentations focusing on IPE/IPP models, pedagogy, as well as other Allied Health topics. We look forward to seeing all of our member schools’ staff, faculty, and administration represented at what is sure to be ASAHP’s most dynamic Annual Conference in recent years!

• Dr. M. Tray Dunaway MD, FACS, CSP, CHCO, CHCC – President, CEO, Chief “Dotsultanist” at Healthcare Value, Inc.

• Dr. Barbara Brandt PhD – Associate Vice President for Education at The Academic Health Center of University of Minnesota

• Shelley Cohen Konrad PhD, LCSW – Director of the Center for Excellence in Interprofessional Education (IPE) at the University of New England.
• Karen Pardue PhD, RN, is the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education in the Westbrook College of Health Professions at the University of New England (UNE).

Strategic Plan

Along with IPE/IPP issues, attendees will be asked to work collectively to actualize the five key areas of ASAHP’s recently adopted Strategic Plan. Your input will be essential in helping ASAHP refine its vision and assist in your efforts as leaders in allied health.

These registration fees will remain in effect until Wednesday, September 25th 2013.
After that date, these rates will increase by $40 to $50 dependent upon registratnt status.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received in writing by Friday, September 27th 2013 will be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations received after September 27th, but before October 11th 2013 will be eligible for a %75 refund.
Cancellations after October 11th 2013 will not be eligible for a refund of any kind.

CUT-OFF DATE:

While the cut-off date for ASAHP’s room block is Friday, September 27, 2013, we encourage all attendees to book their lodging as soon as possible as we predict a heightened number of attendees at this year’s conference given its IPE/IPP focus, a heightened number of concurrent and poster presentations, and many other highlights at this year’s Annual Conference.

AIR TRAVEL:

Airport: Orlando International Airport (MCO) is located approximately 20 minutes away from JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes by taxi.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

Cab Fare: Cab fare from the airport to the Hilton is approximately $50.
SuperShuttle: The hotel also can be reached for $18 each way via Supershuttle. Reservations can be made at www.supershuttle.com.
