Elections
Charlotte E. Exner, PhD, OT/L
Dean
College of Health Professions, Towson University

I have been Dean of the College of Health Professions at Towson University for 12 years and a member of ASAHP throughout my time as Dean. I have been a member of the Education Committee and recently have been a member of the Nominations and Elections committee. I find ASAHP to be an organization that offers great benefits. Clearly ASAHP provides critical resources to Colleges/Schools and the associated faculty and staff who share a commitment to Allied Health and serves to address key issues associated with Allied Health research, political action, accreditation, and education. Clearly the leadership of the organization—and this leadership includes the committees—has a substantial impact on how the Association’s agendas are realized. Thus, I have chosen to express my commitment to ASAHP via supporting leadership through the Board positions and its committees. I have valued being a member of the Board and Nominations committee and would welcome the opportunity to continue in this role. I am committed to insuring appropriate and balanced representation in a wide variety of positions throughout ASAHP.
