The Health Sciences, Education, & Research (HSER) Division, Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences (CHS) at the University of Kentucky is currently accepting applications for a full-time (11-month), tenure-track faculty position. Primary duties will include teaching undergraduate courses, curriculum development, advising/mentoring students and engaging in scholarly activity. Additional duties include participating in service across the division, department, college and university levels.

Qualified applicants for the position must possess a Doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration or related area (ABD with established scholarly record will be considered with documentation). Qualified applicants in all areas of expertise will be considered for the position, but we are especially interested in applicants with experience and demonstrated competence in teaching undergraduates and expertise in any of the following areas: Strategic Planning, Leadership & HR Management, Health Services Administration, Healthcare Finance, and/or Healthcare Delivery Systems. Rank, tenure status and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.

About Health Sciences Education & Research
The Clinical Leadership and Management (CLM) undergraduate degree is one of two academic undergraduate degrees in the division and provides training and experience specifically in the area of health services management, health law, health policy, and ethics. Students with a bachelor's degree in CLM will be prepared to enter careers in healthcare administration and patient navigation and leadership as well as graduate studies. The Human Health Sciences (HHS) degree is the second academic undergraduate degree in the unit and is designed to provide the needed prerequisites for pursuit of advanced degrees in dentistry, pharmacy, physician assistant studies, physical therapy, and other health professions through identified tracks. Students with this bachelor's degree in HHS will also be prepared for careers in patient navigation and leadership as well as graduate studies.
