The University of Hartford invites individuals to submit applications for a tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences, to begin in July 2009.

The Department of Health Sciences offers undergraduate degrees in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Health Science, Radiologic Technology, and Respiratory Care. The Department is seeking an individual who can support the current array of programs, and assume primary responsibility for the Health Science degree program.
Responsibilities: Provide effective and responsive classroom instruction; recruit and advise a diverse student population; conduct scholarly or community outreach activities; participate in curriculum development; administer the Health Science program; and participate in departmental, collegiate and university activities. This is a ten month, tenure track faculty position.
Qualifications: Commitment to undergraduate education and to diversifying the healthcare workforce. Doctoral degree is required. Teaching experience is required. Clinical experience in a field supporting the current program offerings is preferred; however, expertise in a related area will be considered.
