Associate Provost for Faculty Development
This senior level administrative position reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost and is responsible for providing leadership of and vision to the university's faculty development initiatives.
Applicants must possess an earned doctoral degree and academic credentials required for appointment as a full professor, including a distinguished record of scholarly productivity, teaching, and administrative leadership. Successful candidates must demonstrate success in working with faculty in higher education, preferably in a comprehensive university, research university, or academic health science center. Experience working with health professional faculty is desirable. Demonstrated experience in developing and leading faculty development programs is required. Candidates must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational and communication skills.
