Associate Dean
Hodges University is a private, not-for-profit SACS accredited university located in southwest Florida. The School of Allied Health currently offers associate, bachelor's and master's degrees in four different areas.
Due to growth, the School is recruiting for an Associate Dean. Under the direction of the Dean, the Associate Dean will assume responsibility for managing scheduling, accreditation and development of new programs. Additionally, the associate dean will assist in budget development as well as the recruitment, hiring and evaluation of both full time and adjunct faculty. The associate dean is expected to teach a minimum of one course each semester.
Hodges University's academic calendar is on the trimester system. Hodges University is an open, creative and community-conscious educational institution. Although our students are primarily adults, the School of Allied Health has students of all ages. Faculty are expected to provide a quality educational experience to a diverse student body.
Required Education and/or Experience:
- An earned doctorate in a relevant academic discipline within the School of Allied Health (i.e. healthcare administration, biological sciences, etc.)

Teaching experience in the adult centered classroom, including the online environment

Academic administrative experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Statistical knowledge to analyze data for outcomes assessment and program review
