On Thursday, the House Education and the Workforce Committee’s Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development, chaired by Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT), held a hearing entitled, “Divisive, Excessive, Ineffective: The Real Impact of DEI on College Campuses”. The hearing was starkly partisan. Republicans primarily directing questions to their three witnesses, while Democrats primarily directed questions to their sole witness, Dr. James Murphy of Education Reform Now.
