ASAHP 2026 Mentorship Program: Call for Mentees and Mentors

2026 ASAHP Mentorship Program

Deadline: June 9, 2026

The Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions (ASAHP) is pleased to open the application process for the 2026 ASAHP Mentorship Program. Now entering its sixth year, the program is designed to foster professional connections and support leadership development across the health professions education community.

Through one-year mentor/mentee pairings, participants have the opportunity to connect with colleagues and engage in conversations about career growth, leadership transitions, and the evolving landscape of health professions education.

If you are interested in participating as either a mentor or mentee, please complete the appropriate application by Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Questions may be directed to Kristen Truong at kristen@asahp.org.

Call for Mentors

ASAHP is seeking experienced deans and senior administrators interested in serving as mentors and peer coaches for colleagues pursuing growth in health professions leadership roles. Mentors may be paired with individuals serving in Associate Dean, Assistant Dean, department leadership, or faculty roles who are exploring future leadership opportunities, as well as new deans seeking guidance and support as they transition into their positions. Mentorship relationships are designed to provide professional insight, encouragement, and a trusted space for conversation grounded in shared experience in health professions education administration.

The ASAHP Mentorship Program is open to members interested in professional growth and leadership development within the health professions education community. Mentees may include individuals exploring administrative pathways, transitioning into new leadership roles, or simply looking to learn from experienced colleagues in the field. Applications are welcome from all ASAHP members, regardless of academic rank or years of experience.
