The PA committee’s focus is to maintain strong relationships with and increase the number of professional members in ASAHP.
Who are Professional/industry Members?
Health care institutions utilizing workers from allied health professions (e.g. health systems, commercial entities, corporate partners) are eligible for Professional Membership.
Why Join ASAHP?
From professional development opportunities to networking events, research initiatives, and advocacy efforts, ASAHP membership offers a wealth of benefits tailored to elevate your role within health professions education.
Benefits of Professional/Industry Membership
Through its representative, a Professional Member has voting privileges and the opportunity to be represented on ASAHP’s Board of Directors.
Professional Representatives are encouraged to participate in all facets of ASAHP’s committee structure, including those committees which deal with issues of governance.
Particular to this category of membership are certain national office updates which contain information on legislative activities and funding opportunities, as well as policy and position papers.
