An Issue Brief from AcademyHealth is based on a meeting of federal policymakers and researchers that took place in Washington, D.C. last December. AcademyHealth convened the meeting as part of its Research Insights Project. This endeavor fosters discussion of existing, relevant research evidence among policy audiences that need to implement health reform and develop new policy.
