Background and aspirations for ASAHP

I am pleased to be considered for a role on the Nominations and Elections Committee. I bring prior experience serving on this committee at my previous university, where I participated in multiple election cycles and gained a strong appreciation for the importance of fair, transparent, and well-organized processes. That experience reinforced for me that nominations and elections are not simply procedural tasks, but essential functions that shape leadership, representation, and trust within an organization. In my current role as program director, I continue to engage in leadership and committee work that requires careful evaluation, clear communication, and attention to policy and process. I value consistency and integrity in decision-making, and I approach committee service with a strong sense of responsibility to both the organization and its members. My goal in serving is to support a process that members trust and respect, while contributing to the continued strength and effectiveness of the Association’s leadership.
